A name

Finding a specialist recruiter instead of a shared inbox

What goes wrong when outreach goes to a general agency inbox, and how Jobtiv searches for specialist recruiters by sector, seniority, and location.

The careers@ address is not a person who places your seat

Generalist agencies run shared inboxes. A management accountant in Cardiff who writes "Dear team" into that inbox is competing with warehouse roles and a graduate scheme in the same queue. The failure is not manners. It is addressing the wrong desk.

The other failure is paying for a "recruiter database" that is a scrape of LinkedIn titles with no sector filter, so you spend a Sunday introducing yourself to people who place nurses while you close month-end.

Filter by sector, seniority, and location, then write to a name

You search on the kind of seat you actually want placed — sector, seniority, location. The tool returns specialist recruiters matching those filters, not a generic "talent team". You still write the message. Networking messages, next door, will draft from your profile if you want a starting text.

A name is not a warm introduction. It is an address that is more likely to be the desk that already talks to finance controllers, not the desk that staffs shops.

What Meera Vossgard is looking for

This is a fictional example CV, written to show the template. It is not a real person.

Meera Vossgard, Management Accountant, Cardiff. Fictional. Used here as Meera.

Meera Vossgard is a fictional management accountant in Cardiff, nine sites, month-end and the variance pack. The recruiter who can place that seat is a finance specialist, not a high-street retail desk that happens to know her current employer's brand.

The tool can narrow to that specialist. It cannot make them reply. It cannot put her on a shortlist. Those are the recruiter's actions, not ours.

When a name will not help

We do not introduce you. We do not email them for you. A specialist who is on leave, fully booked, or uninterested will still ignore a good message. If your target market has no specialist desks, a generalist inbox may be all there is — the tool cannot invent a market.

Questions

Does Jobtiv email recruiters for me?
No. You get names that match the filters. You write. You send.
Does a name mean I am on a shortlist?
No. A name is an address. Shortlists belong to the recruiter and the employer.
Can I find in-house talent teams?
The search is built for specialist recruiters who place seats like yours. Corporate HR inboxes are a different problem.
