The method
Learning the aptitude formats before the timer starts
What goes wrong when you sit a timed test before you know what the question is asking, and how Jobtiv Study Hub teaches the formats first.
The timer is a bad teacher
A first numerical paper is often failed on the instructions: not knowing that a table question wants a ratio, not a vibe; not knowing what a case prompt is asking you to structure. Sitting that paper timed, first, teaches panic. It does not teach the format.
People then buy another question pack, which is more paper. They still have not been shown the method of one pie chart, slowly, with the working visible from the start.
Formats and methods, without the clock
Study Hub is the classroom: the kinds of items you will meet (tables, charts, short cases), and the method for each, written so you can read it twice. It is not a timed exam. When a method is clear, you take it next door to Case and aptitude practice and sit it under a clock.
That split is the product. Mixing them — a "learn" page that still scores you — would recreate the original panic. We keep the score off this surface on purpose.
What Elowen Marstow reads first
This is a fictional example CV, written to show the template. It is not a real person.
Elowen Marstow can already write a 2,200-word method note for a dissertation. That is academic method, not test method. Study Hub is where a table item is unpacked as a table item, before anyone times her on it.
If she skips this and only uses practice, she will learn whichever item she saw, not the format. The fictional CV does not include a graduate scheme. This tool does not pretend she has one.
When Study Hub will not help
Reading a method is not a mark on a timed paper. If you already know the formats and keep missing under time, you want practice, not another explanation. Study Hub also will not enroll you on an external course — that is Course Finder, and it is a directory, not a classroom.
Questions
- Does Study Hub time me?
- No. It is the method. Timed papers live in Case and aptitude practice.
- Is this a full degree or a paid course?
- No. It is Jobtiv's own teaching of aptitude and case formats. External courses are listed separately in Course Finder.
- Do I need this if I have already sat these papers?
- Probably not. Go to timed practice. Come back only for a format you still misread.
